Dr. Girish Kumar Painoli
Dr. Girish Kumar Painoli is an accomplished academic and administrator with over 28 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and administration across premier higher education institutions in India, the Sultanate of Oman, and Ethiopia.
With an M.Phil. in Commerce and a Ph.D. in Management, Dr. Painoli’s expertise lies in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Banking, and Business Management. His teaching specializations include Accounting, Finance, and Management, making him a distinguished educator and mentor at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
Dr. Painoli has an impressive research portfolio with 43 publications in SCI, Scopus-indexed, Web of Science, UGC Care-listed, and other peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has authored five books and contributed 12 chapters to reputed publications. He is a prolific contributor to academic discourse, with participation in over 100 FDPs, webinars, workshops, and conferences of both national and international repute.
A passionate academic organizer, Dr. Painoli has led numerous national and international seminars, webinars, and workshops aimed at fostering academic growth among students and faculty. His innovative mindset is reflected in his six patents, one copyright, and one design, all in the domain of business management, showcasing his dedication to research and intellectual property development.
Dr. Painoli has served in significant academic roles globally, including Professor of Accounting and Finance in Ethiopia and Faculty of Accounting and Finance in the Sultanate of Oman, where he contributed for over six years. For the past 22 years, he has been contributing to Indian higher education in diverse capacities, encompassing teaching, research guidance, and academic administration.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Painoli is an international reviewer for the Oman Research Council and the Routledge Taylor & Francis Group, UK, reflecting his global recognition in the field of commerce and management.
Dr. Painoli is an active life member of five professional associations related to Accounting, Commerce, and Management, underscoring his professional engagement and commitment to advancing these fields.
