Beautiful kolam (rangoli) designs, vibrant ethnic attire, and traditional music added color and charm to the event. Cultural performances, including folk dances and songs, showcased the richness of Tamil culture and created a lively, cheerful atmosphere.

Educational & Excursion trip to Wondrela (WonderLab)
The Department of Biotechnology, University Institute of Emerging Technologies (UIEMT), Guru Nanak University, successfully organized an Educational Excursion and ExcursionTrip to Wondrela (Wonderlab) for B.Tech (Biotechnology) 1st Year students on 10th January at Wonderla Amusement Park, Ravirayala, Hyderabad.
The visit was thoughtfully designed to provide students with experiential learning by integrating education with recreation. Through this visit, students gained practical insights into the laws of physics, water management systems, safety engineering, and energy utilization, while also experiencing an innovative industrial environment. The program significantly contributed to students’ team bonding, stress relief, and overall personality development.
The Department sincerely thanks the Wonderla WonderLab team for their excellent coordination, informative demonstrations, and for providing Certificates of Industrial Training to all participating students, making the visit academically enriching and memorable.

GNU NextGen Summit 2026 | Successfully Concluded
The GNU NextGen Summit 2026, hosted by Guru Nanak University, was successfully concluded on January 10, 2026, at Vivanta Begumpet. The summit received wide and prominent coverage across major newspapers, television channels, and digital media platforms, highlighting its importance within the education ecosystem.
The summit brought together education leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and changemakers from across India to discuss entrepreneurship, innovation, and future-ready skills for school students, with a focus on preparing young minds for emerging career pathways.

Book Release Ceremony
University Institute of Emerging Technologies (UIEMT) , Guru Nanak University, is pleased to announce the formal release of the book Gothic Genesis: The Transmission Through Time and Territory, authored by Dr. Aadil Zeffer, Assistant Professor of English and a former Cultural Ambassador to the USA (Fulbright Fellow).
The ceremony was held today, 24th December 2025, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. We were honored by the presence of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) H.S. Saini, who presided over the release. The event was also attended by
Prof. (Dr.) C. Kalaiarasan, Rector; Prof. (Dr.) Harish Kundra, Director, UIEMT; and Dr. P. Ashok Kumar, Head of the Department.
This occasion marks a significant academic milestone, reflecting the University’s enduring commitment to fostering research, scholarship, and intellectual excellence.
